Kick off your Summit experience by participating in our inaugural FOLIO: Publishing Summit Golf Tournament at the world-class Blue Monster golf course located on the resort property. The Blue Monster is home of the 2007 World Golf Championships and has hosted PGA Tour events for the past 45 years.
The championship course features 18 holes and 7,125 yards of long fairways, strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. Experience the historic course’s 18th– hole signature fountain which was ranked by GOLF Magazine as one of the Top 100 Holes in the World.
As a guest of FOLIO: you are invited to participate in the industry golf tournament as a way to connect with industry colleagues. The tournament begins at noon on Wednesday, February 20 followed by a post-tournament party poolside at the Resort.
FOLIO: is pleased to offer the Tournament at $100 per golfer (excluding rentals)

World Media Run

Don’t forget to pack your running shoes. Join FOLIO: for the first-ever 5K World Media Run on the morning of February 22, sponsored by Runner’s World Magazine and Nxtbook Media. Registration for the run opens at 6:30 AM and the run begins at 7:00 AM and circles the Blue Monster Golf Course and is open to all registered attendees.
The Media Run also includes a virtual run, where media industry members from around the globe can submit their times from 5K races run in their own backyards. Those who can’t attend the actual race in Miami can logon to www.worldmediarun.com to register for the race, make a donation, and submit their best 5K race time.

After your first day at the Summit, relax with your colleagues and fellow attendees in an intimate setting at the FOLIO: Publishing Summit's signature networking event, Dinner with a Stranger.
Take advantage of the breathtaking Doral atmosphere and world-class dining by selecting one of six specially designed dinner programs for Summit attendees.
FOLIO: will host a small-group dinner at each of the locations listed below. Dinner topics create an environment of discussion and conversation among guests, but no formal agenda will be followed. Dinner with a Stranger is an evening for you to relax, enjoy and engage!
Dinner with a Stranger is not included in your FOLIO: Summit registration. Tickets are $75.
Note: Seating some venues is very limited. Reserve early to avoid disappointment. Dinners include a 3 course themed buffet meal and a choice of wine, beer or soft drink beverage.

The Atrium Restaurant, located in the Doral's world-class spa, provides and elegant backdrop for this dinner program. Classic American fare compliments the modern and crisp atmosphere.
Blue Lagoon Pool I

Guests will feast outdoors and pool-side at this "Floribbean" meal within the Doral's Blue Lagoon compound, filled with palms, island torches, and waterfalls.
