
Paul Caplan has been working in the business-to-business publishing arena since 1984. He joined Cygnus in 2004, guiding the launch of SecurityInfoWatch.com. In 2008, he moved over as Vice President/Brand Director heading up the company’s Security Media group. Prior to joining Cygnus, he was publisher of TechLinks Media and he also served as publisher of two trade magazines at Intertec Publications. At Hart Publications, Caplan began as marketing director of the company's newsletter division, eventually serving as group publisher managing three magazine staffs and two conferences.

Over the past 12 years, Shari has specialized in working with clients to create custom media strategies that help companies achieve their specific marketing goals. She provides concepts and integrated solutions through single-sponsor branded media options, including niche magazines, online programs and special events.

Joe Eschbach has over 20 years of experience in consumer and enterprise technology marketing at Apple, Adobe, Microsoft and Astoria Software. As VP of the Adobe ePaper Division, he drove revenue growth for Acrobat and built partnerships with Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other publishers to establish the Adobe eBook business. He has a B.A. in Economics and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, a Diploma in Economics from Cambridge University, and an M.S. and PhD in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University.

Karthik Krishnan is a seasoned Online Media professional with strong experiences in online strategy, sales management, audience & business development, and technology. He is currently responsible for improving the financial performance and audience engagement of Reed’s 44 core online brands. Prior to joining Reed, Karthik was a Principal at Agilone and he was also with Rodale, publisher – healthy active living magazines and books for over 8 years.

Christine Oldenbrook is director of marketing and eMedia at Bobit Business Media. Christine’s team is responsible for setting and executing eMedia initiatives, audience development, marketing, research and Web development for the company’s wide variety of magazines, websites and events. Previously Christine held senior marketing and audience development positions at 101 Communications (1105 Media), Primedia (Penton) and Highline Media.

For the last 20 years Kathi Simonsen has specialized in helping magazine publishers increase their revenue with sales training and sales, management and marketing strategy. Her focus has been on e-media and integrated marketing revenue for the last ten years. She also sold advertising for Chilton and Penton and was a Publisher for California Design.
